Σήμερα στην Ελλάδα η ετήσια δια ζώσης συνάντηση του American Society of Clinical Oncology (ΑSCO) Central and Eastern Europe Regional Council το οποίο συντονίζω ως Chair.Μια ξεχωριστή στιγμή για μένα, και για την ομάδα, στο εμβληματικό και πάντα φιλόξενο Μουσείο της Ακρόπολης που μας αγκάλιασε.
Η συνεδρίαση στην Αθήνα αποτελεί ευκαιρία για διάλογο και συνεργασία, με στόχο δράσεις που θα ξεκινούν από την περιοχή μας, αλλά θα έχουν και παγκόσμιο αντίκτυπο, πάντα στα σημαντικά ογκολογικά θέματα. Ηγετικές φωνές της ογκολογίας από τις χώρες της Κεντρικής και Ανατολικής Ευρώπης, με τη σφραγίδα του ASCO, μελετούμε και κατανοούμε τις ιδιαίτερες προκλήσεις της περιοχής μας και προωθούμε ισότιμη, υψηλής ποιότητας φροντίδα για όλους τους ογκολογικούς ασθενείς.

Today in Greece, the annual in-person meeting of the ASCO Central and Eastern Europe Regional Council, which I chair.A special moment for me and for the team, at the iconic and always welcoming Acropolis Museum that hosts us.
The meeting in Athens is an opportunity for dialogue and collaboration, aiming at initiatives that start from our region but have a global impact on the most important oncology issues. With the support of ASCO, leading voices in oncology from across Central and Eastern Europe come together to study and understand the unique challenges of our region and to promote equitable, high-quality care for all patients with cancer.
